Primordial non-Gaussianities in Hořava-Lifshitz Gravity

We address the issue of the origins of the primordial fluctuations is the Cosmic Microwave Background spectrum, the “seeds” of the Universe. We review the history of the discovery and the origins of the CMB and explain the questions surrounding it. We move on to consider famous cosmological “puzzles”, which served as an inspiration for the theory of Inflation, reviewed subsequently. We discuss the mechanism and predictions of the theory and move on to discuss some less famous but equally successful alternatives. We next move on to consider the theory of Hořava Lifshitz gravity together with its predictions, issues and di↵erent versions. We discuss importance of three-point correlation functions in the investigation of primordial fluctuations and attempt calculation of such for the theory in question. We conclude with directions for future work.

Using the multiplicity of solutions for the projectable case of the covariant extension of Hořava-Lifshitz gravity, we show that an appropriate choice for the auxiliary field allows for an effective description of galaxy rotation curves.
